“An artist is just a sketchbook with a person attached.”

-My 10th grade painting teacher, Terry McDaniel.

From 2012 to about 2014 I carried around a pocket Moleskine sketchbook everywhere I went. What you’ll find here is a journey through 2 years of my mind. Really it’s your opportunity to see 24+ months of the living through my eyes.

There is commentary about Black existence, weird thoughts about TV shows I’ve watched, painting ideas, sketches of strangers on trains and coach buses, drawings of coworkers while in meetings, me illustrating my feelings and more.

There’s no logical format. I give you my life and my jumbled thoughts about it. Be careful, it’s dangerous in there.
